BLUE LOTUS: A BRIEF HISTORY

First recorded in ancient Egypt, Blue Lotus was historically used in ceremonies, meditation, spiritual practice, and wine infusions for its calming and mildly euphoric effects, often associated with heightened awareness and altered states of consciousness.

Today, naturally occurring compounds within the flower continue to be studied for their relaxing and mood enhancing properties, while many spiritual traditions associate blue lotus with activation of the "third eye," commonly linked to the pineal gland.
