What is Blue Lotus?
Blue lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is a water lily with a rich history stretching back thousands of years, most famously to ancient Egypt. Celebrated for its beauty, symbolism and traditional uses, it has remained a fascinating botanical across generations.
At Blue Lotus, we take inspiration from that extraordinary history and reimagine the flower for modern life.
Where does your Blue Lotus come from?
All Blue Lotus botanicals are organically grown, harvested, and dried in Sri Lanka. Our partner farms operate under fair trade standards, ensuring living wages, ethical working conditions, and a strict rejection of child labour.
What makes your products different?
We believe blue lotus deserves better than mass-produced extracts and forgettable products.
Our products are developed with a focus on botanical ingredients, thoughtful formulations, quality and transparency. We are building a brand that respects the history of blue lotus while exploring new and innovative ways for people to experience it.
How do I use your products?
Our oils are designed to be multi-use and can be enjoyed in several ways depending on the individual product, including as a botanical vape liquid or for external uses such as anointing and personal rituals.
Always check the individual product page and packaging for specific guidance before use. Our products are intended for adults aged 18 and over.
Are your products legal?
Laws and regulations surrounding botanical products can vary between countries and may change over time.

Do your products contain nicotine?
No. Our current Blue Lotus collection contains no nicotine.
We created our range for those interested in botanical alternatives and new ways of experiencing blue lotus, without nicotine.
Do your products contain CBD or THC?
Our current Blue Lotus collection does not contain CBD or THC unless clearly stated on the individual product page.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Not yet. Our current collection is available for delivery within the UK only.
Vape products are subject to complex and differing regulations around the world, and we believe international expansion should be done properly. As we prepare to expand our operations into Spain, we will be working through the legal and regulatory requirements needed to enter new markets responsibly.
But Blue Lotus is growing beyond our first collection. Over the coming months, we plan to introduce a wider range of blue lotus products and new ways to experience the flower, including non-vape formats that will allow us to begin reaching customers in more countries.

WHY DID YOU START BLUE LOTUS?
Blue Lotus began with a personal interest in finding new ways to incorporate the flower into everyday life.
Our founder, a practising witch, had traditionally used blue lotus in tea infusions as part of meditation and personal rituals. Curious about its wider potential, further research revealed just how versatile the flower could be and the many different ways it could be incorporated into modern products and experiences.
After finding traditional smoking methods personally too harsh, the search began for a more modern alternative. Vape liquid presented a natural starting point, bridging the gap between traditional botanical use and contemporary lifestyles.
What began as a personal exploration soon developed into a much wider vision. Today, our team is building Blue Lotus to explore the versatility of this remarkable botanical and create thoughtful, innovative products that reimagine its place in modern life.
